1. GROUP-C (LEVEL- 2)
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos.
Division wise vacancies:
i) South Western Railway: 02 posts
ii) Rail Wheel Factory, Yelahanka: 02 posts
Educational Qualification: Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate for General candidates. 50% marks may not required if candidate possess higher qualification.
OR Matriculation Plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship/ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT.
Educational Qualification must be from Recognized Institutions or Diploma in Mechanical Electronics/Automobile Engg. in lieu of ITI.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-28 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 and Grade Pay Rs.1900/-
2. GROUP-C (LEVEL -1)
No. of Vacancies: 08 Nos.
Division wise vacancies:
i) Hubballi: 02 posts
ii) Bengaluru: 02 posts,
iii) Mysuru: 02 posts
iv) Rail Wheel Factory, Yelahanka: 02 posts
Educational Qualification:10th Pass plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT or 10th pass plus ITI.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-31 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 and Grade Pay Rs.1800/-
Note: Candidates appearing and/or awaiting results of the final examinations as on the date of application are not eligible to apply.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Scouts & Guides Qualification (Essential):
a) A President Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger OR Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any section.
b) Should have been an active member of a Scouts organization for the last 5 years.
c) Should have attended two events at National level OR All Indian Railways’ level AND two events at State level.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination/Skill Assessment. Written test will be held on 23/03/2018 at Hubballi. Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination/interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course as well as such information will be also available in the official website of South Western Railway — www.rrchubli.in

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PWD) as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) drawn in favour of Asst. Personnel Officer/Traffic, South Western Railway, Hubballi, payable at Hubballi.
