Educational Qualification for above mention Trades:
1. For Fitter, Machinist & Turner: 10th Class Examination under 10 +2 system of education or its equivalent and also possess National Trade certificate in the notified trade.
2. For Carpenter & Welder: Class VIII pass and also possess National Trade certificate in the notified trade.
3. For Electrician /Electronics Mechanic: Class 10th examination pass under 10 +2 system of education with science as one of the Subjects, or its equivalent and should also possess National Trade Certificate in the notified trade.
4. For Mechanic Diesel Maintenance: Class 10th examination pass or its equivalent and also possess National Trade certificate in the notified trade
5. For Medical Laboratory Technician (Radiology): Class 12th examination pass under 10 +2 system of education with physics, chemistry and Biology.
6. For Medical Laboratory Technician (Pathology): Class 12th examination pass under 10 +2 system of education with physics, chemistry and Biology.
Age Limit (For all above posts/discipline): Minimum-15 years and maximum-24 years as on 26.01.2017.. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Educational Qualification and Physical fitness.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.100/- as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Postal order drawn in favour of Work Shop Personnel Officer/S&T/Work Shop, Southern Railway-Podanur, Coimbatore-641 023, payable at Coimbatore.
NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC/ST/PWD/WOMEN CANDIDATES.
