Spices Board India is recruiting eligible candidates for 16 posts of Spices Research Trainees (SRT) for training in the Indian Cardomom Research Institute (ICRI) in Myladumpara (Kerala) and Regional Research Station (RRS) at Saklespur (Karnataka) and Gangtok (Sikkim). Interested and eligible candidates may appear directly for the Walk-in-Interview along with Bio-Data/ Resume and copies of testimonials with originals on below mentioned scheduled dates and venue. The tenure for appointment is for One Year and extendable upto one more year. A. For ICRI Myladumpara

Discipline wise vacancies:

(i) Agronomy & Soil Science- 04 posts
(ii) Plant Pathology- 03 posts
(iii) Entomology- 02 posts

 

B. For RRS Sakleshpur

Discipline:

(i) Crop Improvement (Botany)- 01 post
(ii) Agronomy & Soil Science- 01 post
(iii) Entomology- 01 post

 

C. For RRS Gangtok

Discipline:

(i) Crop Improvement (Botany)- 01 post
(ii) Agronomy & Soil Science- 01 post
(iii) Plant Pathology- 01 post
(iv) Entomology- 01 post

 

Educational Qualification:

(i) Crop Improvement (Botany): M.Sc Botany/ Biotechnology with working knowledge in computer.

(ii) Agronomy & Soil Science: M.Sc Chemistry/ Agronomy/ Soil Science with working knowledge in computer.

(iii) Plant Pathology: M.Sc Microbiology/ Botany with working knowledge in computer.

(iv) Entomology: M.Sc Entomology/ Zoology with working knowledge in computer.

 

Note: Candidates who were engaged as Trainee/ Trainee Analyst in ICRI, Myladumpara/ RRS Saklespur/ RRS, Gangtok are not eligible.

 

Age Limit: Not more than 35 years as on 01.01.2018.

 

Consolidated Pay: Rs.17,000/- per month.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Test.

The training will be in the Indian Cardamom Research Institute (ICRI) in Myladumpara, Kerala and at Regional Research Stations (RRS) in Sakleshpur, Karnataka and Gangtok, Sikkim.
