1. Data Processing Assistant (Gr.A)— 1 post (UR)
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Physics/Mathematics/Statistics/ Operational Research/Computer Science
AND Post-graduate Diploma/Certificate in computer application (one year duration course) OR 2yrs experience in computer application field.
Age: 18—25yrs.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300—34800 and Grade Pay: Rs.4200/-
2. Scientific Assistant (Physical – Civil)— 5 posts. (UR—4; OBC—1)
Qualification: Master’s Degree in Physics (Pure or applied) or Chemistry (Pure or Applied or Industrial) or degree in Chemical Technology/Engineering or degree in Civil Engineering.
AND 2yrs experience in the Testing and Evaluation of Civil Engineering material in a Laboratory
Age: 18—30yrs
Pay Scale: Rs.9300—34800/- and Grade Pay: Rs.4600/-
3. Quarantine Inspector — 2 posts (UR)
Qualification: Bachelor of Science with Zoology or Microbiology as one of the essential subjects AND 2yrs experience in the field.
Age: 18—30yrs
Pay Scale: Rs.9300—34800 and Grade Pay: Rs.4200/-
4. Junior Geographical Assistant — 1 post (UR)
Qualification: Honours Degree in Geography/ Statistics / Mathematics
Age: 18—25yrs
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2800/-
5. Senior Scientific Assistant — 2 posts (UR)
Qualification: Master’s Degree in Bacteriology or Microbiology or Biochemistry or Pharmacy or Physiology or Chemistry.
Age: 18—30yrs.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300—34800/-
Age will be counted as on last date of receipt of application. Upper age relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates, 5yrs for Widow/legally separated women and 10 years for PWD candidates. Relaxation for Ex-servicemen will be as per govt. norms.
Selection of the candidates will be through Interview/ Skill Test/ Screen Test, wherever applicable. Exact date and venue will be intimated in due course.

Examination Fee: Rs.50/- by means of “Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)” only. These stamps are available at the counter of all Post Offices of the country. These Recruitment Fee Stamps may be pasted on the application form in the space earmarked for the purpose. These Recruitment Stamps must be got cancelled from the Counter Clerks of any Post Office of issue with the date stamp of the Issuing Office.
SC/ST, PH, Ex-Servicemen and Women candidates are exempted from Examination Fee.
