SSC NORTH EASTERN REGION INVITES APPLICATION FOR 12 SR. TECHNICAL ASSISTANT AND JR. SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT. LAST DATE – 20.10.2014
1. Senior Technical Assistant (Chemical): 2 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Agricultural Chemistry or Soil Science.
Desirable: Two years experience in Ground Water Analysis and Ground Water Chemistry.
2. Junior Scientific Assistant (JSA): 10 Nos. (Gen-7; OBC-2 & SC-1)
Educational Qualification: Degree in Science with Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics OR Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.
Experience: Two years experience in Food Inspection/Analysis.
Pay Scale (for both posts): Rs.9300/- to Rs.34800/- AND Grade Pay Rs.4600/- for Senior Technical Assistant (Chemical) and Rs.4200/- for Junior Scientific Assistant (JSA).
Age Limit (for both posts): Not more than 30yrs. The Upper age relaxation for SC/Central Government Employees -5 yrs, OBC-3 yrs and others as per Govt. norms.
Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.50/-in form of Central Recruitment Fee Stamp (CRFS) which is available in major Post offices.
No fee for Woman candidates, Physically Handicapped, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Ex-Serv.
Mode of Selection: On basis of qualification and experience, candidates will be called for interview. In case, if the number of applicants is in large then Commission may conduct a screening/written test. See the advt. (PDF) below for details.
