Staff Selection Commission notifies Junior Translators in (CSOLS) Examination, 2012. Last Dt. 05/10/2012

Staff Selection Commission is conducting Combined All India Open Examination for the posts of “Junior Translator in (CSOLS)” Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted in various Offices/ Departments under Dept. of Official Language. Application is to be made on the prescribed Application Form which can be downloaded from the official website of SSC. Name of posts and eligibility norms in brief is given below—

STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION NOTIFIES JUNIOR TRANSLATORS IN (CSOLS) EXAMINATION, 2012 ON SUNDAY 18-11-2012.

1. Junior Translator: No. of vacancies will be announced in due course.
Qualification: Master’s degree in Hindi or English with English or Hindi
OR
Master’s Degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject other than Hindi or English with Hindi or English medium and English or Hindi
OR
Master’s Degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject other than Hindi or English with Hindi and English
AND
Diploma or certificate Course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa OR Two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central or State Government Offices including Government of India Undertakings.

Age limits: within 30yrs as on 01/08/2012. Upper age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs, PH—10yrs, Ex-Serviceman and other categories— as per norms.

Application fee: Rs.100/- is to be paid by mean of “Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)”. Recruitment Fee Stamps should be pasted on the application form in the space earmarked for the purpose and got cancelled from the Counter of Post Office of issue with the date stamp of the Issuing Post Office

How to Apply: Application is to be made on prescribed format. Application form should enclose self attested copies of the relevant Certificates such as Mark sheets, Provisional Certificate, etc.
The application form should be addressed to the Regional Offices. For list of Regional offices’ Address, refer the Advt.

Written Test and Personality Test will be held on 18/11/2012. Written Test will be of Objective Type Multiple Choice questions only.

Last Date of Application: Application form should reach on or before 05th October, 2012.
