CONSTABLES (EXECUTIVE) – MALE
No. of Vacancies: 3115 Nos. (UR-1557, OBC-847, SC-473, ST-238)
Educational Qualification: 10+2 (Senior secondary) pass.
Candidates must have valid Driving License for LMV
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-21 years as on 01/07/2016
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade pay Rs.2000/- and other allowances

 

CONSTABLES (EXECUTIVE) – FEMALE
No. of Vacancies: 1554 Nos. (UR-815, OBC-443, SC-250, ST-46)
Educational Qualification: 10+2 (Senior secondary) pass
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-25 years as on 01/07/2016
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade pay Rs.2000/- and other allowances

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Physical Endurance Test, Measurement Test and Computer based Written Examination.

Computer Based Written Exam will be held on 04/03/2017.

All the Test will be held at various centres across the Country.

For candidates residing in West Bengal may choose following Examination Centre — Barasat, Berhampore, Chinsurah, Jalpaiguri, Kolkata, Malda ,Midnapur and Siliguri.

 

Physical Standard:

(i) Male Candidates:-  Height- 170cm (165cm for ST and NE), Chest– Unexpanded- 81 cms and Expanded- 85cms (Unexpanded-76 cms /Expanded- 80 cms for ST and NE).

(ii) Female Candidates:- Height- 157cm (155cm for SC, ST and NE), Chest- Not Applicable

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.100/- as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC, ST, WOMEN AND EX-SM CANDIDATES.
