Vacancies of Stenographer Grade “C” and “D” are in different Ministries/Departments of Central Government, including their Attached/Subordinate offices located in States and Union Territories all over the country. STENOGRAPHER (GRADE C & D)

Educational Qualification: Must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent. Candidates should possess skill of Stenography (Ability to take dictation in Hindi or English at the rate of 100 words per minute for Stenographer-C and 80 wpm for Stenographer-D. See PDF given below)
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-27 years as on 01/08/2017.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The vacancies are for different Ministries/Departments of Central Government, including their Attached/Subordinate offices located in States and Union Territories all over the country.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Computer Based Examination and Skill Test.
Computer Based Examination will be held at various centre across the country from 04/09/2017 to 07/09/2017.
Skill Test will be held at the Commission’s Regional/Sub Regional Offices.
Question paper will be of Objective Multiple choice type on subjects General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge, English language & Comprehension.
In Skill Test, candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English / Hindi at the speed of 100 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade-C and 80 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade-D. Stenography test will be in Hindi and English as opted by the applicant. The matter will have to be transcribed on compute (See PDF file given below for details)

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.100/- as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
