Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission invites application for Sub-Inspector of Fisheries. Last Dt. 18-01-2013

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) is inviting Online application form from the eligible candidates for Direct Recruitment to the post of – “Sub-Inspector of Fisheries” in Tamil Nadu Fisheries Subordinate Service. Interested candidates may apply online before 18-01-2013. Qualification norms and information in brief is given below. Notification No. 52/2012 —

Qualification Required: Science Degree with Zoology as Main subject OR Bachelor Degree of Fisheries Science OR The Associate Diploma in Fisheries Science of the Central Institute of Fisheries Education, Bombay OR A Certificate of Successful completion of the full course of Inland or Marine Fisheries classes OR A Diploma in Fisheries Technology and Navigation awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu.

Pay scale: Rs.9300—36800 and Grade pay: Rs.4400/-

Age Limits: between 18yrs to 30yrs as on 01-07-2012. Upper age relaxation is as per Govt. norms.

Selection will be made in two successive stages i.e., (i) Written Examination and (ii) Oral Test.
Written Examination which will be Computer based (CBT), i.e. Computer will allotted to each candidates for the qualifying test.

Examination will be held at Chennai centre only.

How to Apply: Candidates must apply Online only from the official website of TNPSC — www.tnpsc.gov.in OR www.tnpscexams.net

Application fee: Candidates must pay the Application fee of Rs. 150/- (Rs.50/- in case of candidates claiming exemption from Application fee) through Offline or Online mode.
For Offline mode, candidates may deposit the prescribed fee through Post Office or Indian Bank Branch. Whereas for Online mode, candidates may pay the fee through Debit/ Credit card or Net banking.

After submitting the application, candidates can print /save their application in PDF format. On entering Application Number and password, Candidates can download their application and print, if required.

Candidates need not send the printout of the online application or any other supporting documents to the Commission’s office. All verification of documents will be made during next coming up stage of selection.

Last Date of Application: Online application form can be submitted upto 18th January 2013 till Midnight.
