Qualification — Any Bachelor’s Degree. Candidate must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting and Shorthand in Tamil and English.
Certificate course in Computer on Office Automation conducted by the Technical Education Department.
iv) Accountant in Treasuries and Accounts Department:
Qualification — Any Bachelor’s Degree. Preference shall be given to person who holds a degree in Commerce.
v) Assistant in (Law Department) Secretariat:
Qualification — B.L. Degree awarded by any University recognised by the University Grants Commission.
vi) Assistant in (Finance Department) Secretariat:
Qualification — Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Economics or Statistics.
vii) Assistant and Lower Division Clerk in Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Secretariat:
Qualification — Any Bachelor’s Degree.
viii) Assistant (in rest of the departmental)
Qualification — Any Bachelor’s Degree.
Note: Candidates applying for any one of the above post must have knowledge of Tamil.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination. Written Examination will be held at various centers across the country.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.100/- (Examination Fee) and Rs.150/- (One time Registration fee) as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank or Post Offices. NO EXAMINATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC/ST/PWD CANDIDATES.
