1. Assistant Jailor: 104 Nos.
Educational Qualification:Â Degree of B.A. or B.Sc. or B. Com.
Candidates should possess adequate knowledge of Tamil.
Physical Measurement:
Height:Â (i) Female- 155 cms (150 in case of ST, SCA, SC); (ii)Â Male- 168 cms (160 cms in case of SC, SCA, ST)
Chest (for Male only): Chest expiration- 86cms (79cms in case of SC, SCA, ST) &Â inspiration 91 cms (84 cms in case of SC, ST, SCA)
Age Limit:Â Minimum-18 years and maximum-30 years (No maximum age limit for reserved category) as on 01/07/2016
Pay Scale:Â Rs.9300/- Rs.34800/- and Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination and oral Test. Written Examination will be held at the following Centres: Ariyalur, Pudukkottai, Chennai, Ramanathapuram, Coimbatore, Salem, Cuddalore, Sivaganga, Dharmapuri, Thanjavur,Dindigul, Theni, Erode, Thiruvallur, Kanchipuram,Thiruvannamalai, Kanyakumari, Thiruvarur,Karur, Thoothukkudi, Krishnagiri, Tiruchirappalli, Madurai, Tirunelveli, Nagapattinam, Tiruppur, Namakkal, Vellore, The Niligirs,Vilupuram, Perambalur, Virudhunagar on 24.07.2016 (10am to 5:30 pm)

Examination Fee:Â Candidates must pay Rs.150/- (Rs.50/- as registration fee for all candidates) as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Bank only by means of Fee Payment Challan. NO EXAMINATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC/ ST CANDIDATES.
