Number of Vacancies: Total 797 Nos.
Name of the Post: MAIL GUARD
Vacancies in Railway Mail Services Division
Number of Vacancies: Total 09 Nos.
Educational Qualification:
(i) For Postman: Matriculation pass from a recognized board.
(ii) For Mail Guard: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board.
Age Limit: 18—27yrs as on 07.12.2014. Upper age relaxation for reserved categories is as per Govt. norms. See officially released advertisement for more details.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 with Grade Pay: Rs.2000/- per month

Examination and Application Fee: General and OBC candidates shall pay Examination Fee is Rs.400/- and Application Fee of Rs.100/- . Examination fee is exempted for SC/ST, PWD and all Women candidates however such exempted categories should pay Application Fee of Rs.100/- only.
Fee can be paid in cash at any post office with E-Payment facility (See link/pdf below for details).

The applicant can apply for one division only i.e. either Postal Division or Railway Mail Service Division.
