Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) is inviting Online application for Direct Recruitment to the following vacancy – “Punch Operator”. Notification No. 51/2012. Eligible and Interested candidates may apply for the post on or before 18-01-2013. Qualification norms, Qualification requirement and other information in brief is given below –
1. Punch Operator: 25 Nos. [General—7; BC—7; BCM—1; MBC/DC—5; SC—4; SC(A)—1]
Name of the Service and Code No.: Tamil Nadu General Subordinate Service (Code No. 036)
Qualification Required: Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent. Candidates must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting in English and in Tamil by Senior Grade And must have passed “Certificate Course in Computer Office Automation conducted by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu”.
Pay scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade pay: Rs.2400/-
Age Limits: Minimum 18yrs and maximum 30yrs (No maximum age limit in case of reserved categories).
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination (Objective Type) and Oral Test. Written Examination will be Computer Test, i.e. Computer will be allotted to each candidates to take up examination. (for details, refer the officially released advt.)
Examination will be held at Chennai Centre (Code No. 001).
Candidates may download their Admit card in due course from the commission’s website.
Examination Fee: Rs.150/- (Examination Fee Rs.100/- + Cost of Application Rs.50/-). Candidates claiming exemption from examination fee should pay Rs.50/- towards Application Cost.
Examination Fee can be paid Online or Offline. Offline fee submission can be done through Post Office or Indian Bank Branch. (Refer the Advt., Link given below)
How to Apply: Apply Online only from the official website of the Commission’s – www.tnpsc.gov.in or www.tnpscexams.net
After successful submission of Online application form; a system generated application will appear on the screen with unique Application Number and Password. Candidates may print-out it for records.
There is no need to send any application or documents to the commission’s office. All the documents will be verified during selection stage.
