2. FOREST SECTION OFFICER

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Botany or Forestry or Horticulture or Zoology or Physics or Chemistry or
Mathematics or Statistics or Geology or Agriculture as a subject or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 31 years as on 01/07/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.21,230 – Rs.63,010
3. FOREST BEAT OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 1857 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Passed Intermediate examination or its equivalent.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 31 years as on 01/07/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.16,400 – Rs.49,870
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Note: Candidates belonging to the reserved category of state other than Telangana, will be treated as General Candidates.
Physical Standards–
For Forest Range Officer:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 163 Cms. (152 Cms for ST); Chest (unexpanded) — 79 Cms; Chest (expanded) — 84 Cms
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 150 Cms (145 Cms for ST); Chest — 74 Cms; Chest (expanded) —79 Cms
For Forest Section Officer / Forest Beat Officer:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 163 Cms.(158 Cms for ST) ; Chest (unexpanded) —84 Cms (78.8Cms) ; Chest (expanded) — 89 Cms (83.8Cms)
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 150 Cms; Chest — 79 Cms; Chest (expanded) — 84 Cms
Cut-off in Physical Standards: For candidates belonging to certain categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such candidate’s Height/ Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Walking Test, Walking Test, Medical Test and Interview wherever applicable.
Written Examination will be held at the following centres Hyderabad, Karimnagar, Khammam, Warangal, Nizamabad, Adilabad, Ranga Reddy, Mahabubnagar, Medak, Nalgonda.
Examination (Objective Type) is likely to be held on 14/10/2017 and 15/10/2017 for Forest Range Officer; 22/10/2017 for Forest Section Officer and 29/10/2017 for Forest Beat Officer.
