Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), as per Special Recruitment Advertisement No. 51/2013, is inviting Online application form for the 96 posts of “Medical Officer” and “Assistant Labour Commissioner/ Assistant Welfare Commissioner/Assistant Labour Welfare Commissioner/ Assistant Director in Grade-V”. UPSC INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 96 “MEDICAL OFFICER” AND “ASSISTANT LABOUR COMMISSIONER/ ASSISTANT WELFARE COMMISSIONER/ASSISTANT LABOUR WELFARE COMMISSIONER/ ASSISTANT DIRECTOR IN GRADE-V”. SPECIAL RECRUITMENT ADVERTISEMENT NO. 51/2013. LAST DATE: 31/01/2013.

1. Medical Officer in the Department of Medical and Public Health, Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
No. of Vacancies: 39 Nos. (SC—5; ST—2; OBC—10; Gen—22). Out of them 4nos. reserved for PWD candidates.
Qualification Required: Recognized Medical Qualification included in the Ist or IInd Schedule of Part II of the IIIrd Schedule (other than Licenciate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
Candidates must have completed their compulsory rotating Internship.
The engagement to this post are on temporary basis.
Pay scale: Rs.15600—36120 per month plus other allowances.

2. Assistant Labour Commissioner (Central)/Assistant Welfare Commissioner (Central)/Assistant Labour Welfare Commissioner (Central)/Assistant Director in Grade-V of Junior Time Scale (JTS) of Central Labour Service (CLS), Ministry of Labour & Employment.
No. of Vacancies: 57 Nos. (SC—6; ST—3; OBC—19; Gen—29). Out of them 3 posts is reserved for PWD candidates
Qualification Required: Degree from recognized University or equivalent and Diploma in Social Work/ Labour Welfare/Industrial Relations/Personnel Management/Labour Law from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent.
Candidates with Degree in Law is desirable.
The engagement to this post is on permanent basis.
Pay scale: Rs.15600 – 36120 plus other allowances.

Age limits (As on closing date of application): Candidates must not exceed 35 years. Upper age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs; PWD—10yrs and others—as per norms.

A Written Objective Type Recruitment Test with multiple choice questions shall be conducted followed by Interview for selection. (For details, refer the Advt., Link given below)

Application fee: Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card.
