United Bank of India is inviting application form from Male Sportsperson in the Cadre of “Officer” and “Clerks” for its team in Football, Cricket, Table Tennis, Boxers, Wrestlers and Athletes. Interested and Eligible candidates may apply on prescribed Application Form. eligibility norms and Sports wise vacancies is given below—
1. Officer (JMG Scale—I): 5 Nos.
Sports wise vacancies—Football—2; Cricket—2; Table Tennis—1
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline and must have played and represented Country or State in International level games or National level tournament with distinction continuously for at least 4 years.
Age limits: between 21yrs to 30yrs as on 01/08/2012. Upper age relaxation for OBC—3yrs, SC/ST—5yrs. Ex-Serviceman and Others—as per norms.
Pay scale: Rs.7200—Rs.25700
Candidates will be on probation for period of 2 years, after completion of probation period, they will be absorbed on regular basis.
2. Clerk (Clerical Cadre): 15 Nos.
Sports wise vacancies—Football—6; Cricket—6; Boxer—1; Wrestler—1 and Athlete—1)
Qualification: Higher Secondary pass (Class-10+2) and must have played and represented the State in relevant sports in National level events/ games.
Age limits: between 18yrs to 28yrs as on 1/8/2012. Upper age relaxation for OBC—3yrs, SC/ST—5yrs. Ex-Serviceman and Others—as per norms.
Pay scale: Rs.7200—Rs.19300
Candidates will be on probation for period of 6 months, after completion of probation period, they will be absorbed in regular basis.
Selection of candidates will be on basis of performance of the candidates in the interview and on field Trials.
Application fee: Interested candidates should deposit the Application fee of Rs.400/- for the post in Officer Cadre and Rs.200/- for the post in Clerical cadre.
SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman should pay only Rs.50/- for any one of the cadre.

Candidates must enclosed the following documents in Attested copies only—
- Fee Deposit Challan (in attested copy only. Original will have to produce at the time of Interview)
- Secondary School Certificate / School leaving certificate or any documentary proof of age.
- Mark Sheet (Year wise) showing specifically the subject studied and
- Certificates in respect of educational qualification viz SSLC, HSC, Graduate Degree etc
- Relevant Sports achievements supported by documentary evidence.
- And any other relevant documents such as Caste certificate/ Discharge certificate/ Age proof and Etc.
