Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (PSC UP) is going to conduct Combined Lower Subordinate Services Examination – 2013 (For General and Special/ Backlog Rectt.). Interested and eligible candidates may apply online from the official website of PSCUP (See below). Total vacancies—1200 Nos. for General and 10 Nos. for Special/ Backlog Recruitment. The U.P Public Service Commission will hold the Preliminary Examination at various centres of the Districts for selecting suitable candidates for admission to the Main Examination, 2013 regarding the posts included in General/ Special Recruitment.
The date of Examination will be notified in due course
Numbers of Vacancies: 1200 (Approx) for General Recruitment and 10 Nos. for Special/ Backlog Recruitment for Physically handicapped.
Educational Qualification: The candidates must possess Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline or equivalent qualification.
N.B: For some posts specific qualification is required and is clearly outlined in the officially released Advt. (See the below link)
Age Limit: Candidates must be minimum 21yrs and maximum 40yrs as on 01-07-2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Upper age relaxation is applicable for the candidates of U.P. States only. SC/ST/OBC Candidates from other States may apply as General candidates.
Examination Fee: Candidates willing to apply must pay Examination Fee of Rs.115/- (Rs.55/- for SC/ST candidates).
No Application Fee for PH/ Ex-Servicemen and Women candidates.
The fee is to be deposited by means of Fee payment challan which will be generated after submitting the ‘first stage’ of the online application form. (See the below link for details)

After final submission of online Application form, print-out the Acknowledgement/ Registration slip and retain safely for later use. There is no need to send any hard copy of the application to the commission.
