ASSISTANT ENGINEER (CIVIL)

Number of Vacancies: 15 Nos. (Gen—10; SC—2; OBC—3). Out of them one post reserved for PH candidates.
Educational Qualification: Degree in Engineering in Civil from a recognized University or Institution.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on Last Date of the application. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; and Others – As per norms.
The engagement to the post will be on temporary basis but likely to continue. Candidates will be posted at in Office of Chief Engineer, Union Territory, Chandigarh, Engineering Department, Chandigarh Administration.
Nature of Duties: In charge of Sub Division. For supervising the maintenance of residential/non residential buildings, supervising the construction of Building and Road works.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600—39100 and Grade Pay: Rs.5400/- per month plus other allowances as per norms.
Application Fee: General and OBC candidates shall pay Application Fee of Rs.25/- either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card.
