1. GEOLOGIST, GROUP A
No. of Vacancies: 40 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Geological Science or Geology or Applied Geology or Geo-Exploration or Mineral Exploration or Engineering Geology or Marine Geology or Earth Science or Resource Management or Oceanography and Coastal area studies or Petroleum Geosciences or Petroleum Exploration or Geochemistry or Geological Technology or Geophysical Technology.
Age Limit: Minimum-21 years and maximum-32 years
2. GEOPHYSICIST, GROUP A
No. of Vacancies: 40 Nos.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Physics or Applied Physics or M.Sc. (Geophysics) or Integrated M.Sc. (Exploration Geophysics) or M.Sc (Applied Geophysics) or M.Sc. (Marine Geophysics) Or M.Sc. (Tech.) (Applied Geophysics)
Age Limit: Minimum-21 years and maximum-32 years
3. CHEMIST. GROUP A
No. of Vacancies: 25 Nos.
Educational Qualification: M. Sc. in Chemistry or Applied Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry
Age Limit: Minimum-21 years and maximum-32 years
4. JUNIOR HYDRO GEOLOGISTS (SCIENTIST B), GROUP A
No. of Vacancies: 33 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Marine Geology. Master’s degree in Hydrogeology from a recognized University.
Age Limit: Minimum-21 years and maximum-35 years
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Examination and Interview/ Personality Test. Examination will be held at the following centres — Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chennai, Chandigarh, Cuttak, Delhi, Dispur, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Patna, Shimla, Shillong, Thiruvananthapuram, Kolkata, Lucknow and Jammu.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.200/- as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan.
