Union Public Service commission (UPSC) is going to conduct Engineering Services Examination, 2015 for recruitment to 475 posts of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering in different Departments. ENGINEERING SERVICES EXAMINATION 2015

Name of the Posts and Number of vacancies to be filled on basis of the Examination in different Services/ Department, are as follows:
Total vacancies: 475 (Out of total 20 vacancies are reserved for PH candidates only).
1. Civil Engineering
2. Mechanical Engineering
3. Electrical Engineering
4. Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering

 

Minimum Educational Qualification: Degree in Engineering OR passed Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India). See officially released advertisement for equivalent educational qualification.

 

Age limit (for all posts): 21 to 30 years as on 01.01.2015. The upper age relaxation for reserved category will be as per govt. norms.

 

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.200/- through online mode by using their Credit/Debit card or Net Banking facility of State Bank of India.
OR can be paid offline mode, i.e. in cash through the system generated Pay-in slip at the counter of SBI Branch. See officially released advertisement for more details.
No Application Fee for SC/ST/PWD and Female candidates.

 

Mode of Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Interview/ Personality Test.
The Examination will commence on 12th June, 2015 at various centres across the Country.
Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination will be intimated in due course.
