Commencement of Examination: from 23rd May, 2015
Examination Centre: — Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cuttack, Delhi, Dispur, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna, Shillong, Shimla, Thiruvananthapuram.
On basis of above said Examination, the recruitment in Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service will be made. The number of vacancies are as follows —
Vacancies: Junior Time Scale
Number of Vacancies:
— (i) Indian Economic Service: 06 Posts.
— (ii) Indian Statistical Service: 55 Posts.
Eligibility for above said Examination:
Educational Qualification:
(i) For Indian Economic Service: Post Graduate Degree in Economics/Applied Economics/ Business Economics/ Econometrics from a recognized University.
(ii) For Indian Statistical Service: Bechelor’s Degree with Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics as one of the subject or a Master’s degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics from a recognized University
Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the physical standards norms laid by IE/ IS Services. See officially released advertisement for more details.
Age Limit: Must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30yrs as on 01.08.2015., i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1985 and not later than 01st August, 1994. Upper age relaxation for reserved categories is as per Govt. norms.

Fee: Candidates willing to apply for the examination shall pay Fee of Rs.200/- through any branch of SBI in cash by means of fee payment challan which will be generated upon submission of online application OR fee can be paid online during submission online application by using Debit/Credit or Net banking facility.
NO APPLICATION FEE FOR SC/ST, PH AND ALL FEMALE CANDIDATES.
