No. of Vacancies: 335 Nos. (Army Wings-208, Navy Wings-55, Air Force wings-72)
2. NAVAL ACADEMY (10+2 CADET ENTRY SCHEME)
No. of Vacancies: 55 Nos.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
(i) For Army Wing of National Defence Academy :—12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy :—12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination (See official advertisement for norms)
NOTE– ONLY UNMARRIED MALE CANDIDATES ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY.
AGE LIMIT: Candidates born not earlier than 02nd January, 1999 and not later than 1st January, 2002 are eligible.
Physical Standards (For all above posts):
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 152 cm; Weight — as per age.
Selection of the candidates will be through Examination and Personality Test. The Examination – National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II) 2017 will be conducted on 10th September 2017 at various centre across the country.
