UPSC INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY & NAVAL ACADEMY EXAMINATION (I). LAST DATE – 23/01/2015.
An examination will be conducted by UPSC on 19th April,2015 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA for the 135th Course, and for the 97th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 02 January 2016. See officially released advertisement for more details.
No. of vacancies to be filled —
1. National Defence Academy: 320 vacancies (208 for Army and 70 for Air Force)
2. Naval Academy [10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme]: 375 vacancies.
Educational Qualification:
1. For Army Wing of NDA — Class 12 pass (10+2 pattern) or equivalent
2. For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy — Class 12 pass (10+2 pattern) with Physics and Mathematics.
Candidates appearing 10+2 may also apply however such candidates will require to produce 10+2 certificate at the time of Interview. See officially released advertisement for more details.
Age Limit: Only unmarried Male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1996 and not later than 1st July, 1999 may apply.
