Educational Qualification:
i) Matriculation or its equivalent.
ii) Possess Certificate of Competency as Serang of a Steam Vessel having engines of less than 40 nominal Horse Power or of a Motor vessel having engines of less than 226 Break Horse Power, issued by the Mercantile Marine Department under Major Port Harbour Crafts Rules.
iii) Knowledge of Swimming.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2018. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
Pay Scale: Rs.17700- 44600/-
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Skilled Test/ Trade Test and Interview.
