JUNIOR TRAINEE (INSTRUMENTATION)
No. of Vacancies: 19 Nos. (Gen-10, OBC-05, SC-03, ST-01, PWD-01, EXSM-02)
Educational Qualification: SSC with full time ITI in Instrument Mechanic/ Electronics/ Electronics (Mechanical) or Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering/ Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering (60% marks in regular ITI / Diploma in Engineering for Gen/ OBC candidates, 50% marks for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates).
Preference will be given to Displaced Persons (DPs) of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP).
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-27 years as on 01.07.2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.16,800 – Rs.24,110
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards (For all above posts):
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 150 cms; Chest (unexpanded) — 75 cms; Chest (expanded) — 80 cms; Weight — 45 kgs
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 143 cms; Weight — 35 kgs
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Certificate Verification.
Written Test will be held on 20/08/2017 (9am) at Andhra Pradesh.
Candidates selected for the post will be on training for a period of two years. During which stipend of Rs.10,700/- pm for first years and Rs.12,200/- for second year.
