Department of Technical Education & Training, Govt. of West Bengal, is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 156 posts of Instructor, Laboratory Assistants and Matron in different disciplines for various Govt. Educational Qualification: Madhyamik pass and NTC in the relevant trade with not less than 05 years post qualification experience OR Diploma in relevant discipline with not less than 03 years post qualification experience OR NAC after obtaining NTC in the relevant trade with not less than 04 years post qualification experience OR NTC in Board Based Basic Training (BBBT) with advanced module in the relevant trade/discipline with 05 years experience. See officially released advertisement for more details.
Age Limit: Above 18 but not more than 37 years of age as on 01/01/2015.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.10,700/- per month

Educational Qualification: Diploma in relevant discipline from recognized Institution. Bachelor’s degree in Science with Chemistry/ Physics as one of the subject for the post of Laboratory Assistants in discipline Physics/Chemistry.
Age Limit: Above 18 years but not more than 37 years of age as on 01/01/2015
Consolidated Pay: Rs.8300/- per month

 

Name of the Post: MATRON
Number of Vacancies: 21 Nos. (Only female candidates may apply)
Educational Qualification: Madhyamik (Class 10) pass and minimum 03 years work experience as Matron/ Warden of recognized hostel/ welfare home. Candidates with good knowledge of computer (MS Office) will be given preference in Interview.
Age Limit: Above 18 but not more than 40 years of age as on 01/01/2015.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.8000/- per month

 

NOTE: CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK, READ AND WRITE IN BENGALI. APPLICABLE TO ALL ABOVE POSTS.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination and Interview. Written Examination will be Multiple Choice Question on Maths, English, General Knowledge and Technical subject. Technical subject will not be there in case of Matron.

The vacancies are in various Govt. Polytechnics in West Bengal. All posts are purely contractual for a duration of 6 months only or till the filling up of the posts by the SSC, WB whichever is earlier.
