ASSISTANT ENGINEER
No. of Vacancies: 112 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Electrical: 57 posts (UR-31, SC-12, ST-04 OBC-10)
ii) Civil: 38 posts (UR-20, SC-08, ST-03, OBC-06, PWD-01)
iii) IT&C: 17 posts (UR-10, SC-04, OBC-03)
Educational Qualification:
i) For Electrical: B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engineering) Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics (Combined) /Power Engineering /B.Sc (H) in Physics with three years B.Tech in Electrical Engineering OR Degree in respective branch of Engineering.
ii) For Civil: BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) Degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Engineering OR Degree in respective branch of Engineering.
iii) For IT&C: B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) Degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Electronics/Electronics & Telecommunication/ Electronics & Communication/M.Sc (Computer Science)/ MCA / B.Sc (Hons) with B.Tech (3 Years duration) in Computer Science and Engineering.
Note:
- Final year candidates are also eligible to apply.
- Valid GATE-2017 Registration Number as received from GATE-2017 authority and securing qualifying marks in GATE-2017 examination is mandatory
- Candidates having adequate knowledge in communicating in Bengali / Nepali language will be preferred.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 01.01.2016.
Pay Scale: Rs.15,600 – Rs.39,100 and Grade Pay Rs.5400/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be on basis of GATE-2017 scores and Personal Interview.

One copy of the print-out must be retained by the candidate for future references and the other copy is to be send along with attested copies of testimonials (qualification certificate/mark sheet, age proof, caste certificate, experience certificate if applicable and etc), at the below given address so as to reach on or before 31.03.2017
