West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Ltd (WBSETCL), Kolkata, is inviting Online Application form for recruitment of 346 candidates in various below listed posts, such as – Assistant Manager, Jr. Engineer, Jr. Executive, Technical Asst., Pharmacist, Technician, Office Executive and Stenographer. 1. Assistant Manager (HR&A): 4 Nos.
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline and MBA/ MPM / MHRM with major specialization in personnel management/ HR or Post Graduate full time degree / Diploma with specialization in Personnel Management/ HR
2. Assistant Manager (F&A): 8 Nos.
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline plus CA or MBA with major specialization in Finance
3. Assistant Company Secretary: 1 Nos.
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline and member of Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
4. Assistant Manager (Corporate Communication): 1 Nos.
Qualification: Graduation in any discipline plus 2yrs Post Graduate in Public Relations / Journalism / Mass Communication / One year full time PG Diploma in Mass Communications / Public Relations / Journalism from Indian Institute of Mass Communication.
5. Jr. Executive (F&A): 10 Nos.
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline and Inter CA/ ICWA
6. Jr. Engineer (Electrical) Grade—II: 06 Nos.
Qualification: Full time 3 years’ Diploma in Electrical Engineering
7. Jr. Engineer (Civil), Grade—II: 18 Nos.
Qualification: Full time 3 years’ Diploma in Civil Engineering
8. Special Technical Assistant: 25 Nos.
Qualification: 3ys diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication / Radio/ Wireless Engineering
9. Pharmacist: 1 Nos.
Qualification: Diploma in Pharmacy
10. Technician: 24 Nos.
Qualification: Madhyamik or equivalent and ITI certificate in the trade of Wireman/ Electrician (2yrs duration course)
11. Office Executive: 109 Nos.
Qualification: Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate or Graduation in any Discipline with minimum 50% marks in H. S. level
AND Certificate/ Diploma course in Computer OR Secretarial Practices (See the below link for details)
12. Stenographer: 33 Nos.
Qualification: Graduation with 40% marks and proficiency in English language with minimum speed of 80 words per minute in short hand.
Candidates must have proficiency in MS Office
NOTE:
1. Degree from Open University / Private University / Distance Learning mode / Part Time / Sandwich Course shall not be considered.
2. Final year students who expect their result within 31.08.2013 can also apply.

Age Limit (For all posts): Minimum 18yrs and Maximum 27yrs as on 01-01-2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Mode of Selection:
Selection will be made on the basis of performance in Written Test, Computer Proficiency Test and Interview for both posts. Candidates called for Written Test / Computer Proficiency Test / Interview.
The Written Test / Computer Proficiency Test / Interview will be held in Kolkata only.
Tentative date of Written Test:
For the posts in Serial No.01 to 10, the tentative date of Written Test is 29/09/2013 and for the posts in Serial No.11 and 12 – the date will be intimated in due course to the eligible candidates.

Online submission of the applications will be allowed on the website between 20.08.2013 to midnight of 09.09.13.
Application Fee:
Candidates belonging to General / OBC-A /OBC-B/Ex-Serviceman / Meritorious Sportspersons/ Exempted Category/ Physically Challenged categories are required to pay the prescribed Application Fees —
From Serial No.1 to 5 — Rs.400/- plus Rs.22/- as bank service charges.
From Serial No.6 to 12 — Rs.250 plus Rs.22 as bank service charges.
SC / ST candidates from the state of West Bengal are exempted from application fees.
Fees can be deposited at any branch of United Bank of India throughout India through a triplicate challan.
Candidates has to approach nearby UBI branch with a print out of the challan in A4 size paper which will be auto-generated by the application system after filling-up the Personal Data, Address, Educational Qualification and uploading the Photograph & Signature.
While applying online, candidates should keep the scanned copy of their passport size colour photograph and their signature in JPEG.
After applying online, candidates are required to take a printout of the Application Form generated by the system with unique registration number.This application form will be required at the time of the interview.
Candidates shall need not to send any copy of the Application Form or challan through post.
