1. SKIPPER MATE
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: Xth pass or equivalent and Holder of 2nd hand of fishing vessel certificate by MMD.
Experience: At least five years Sea experience.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-30 years as on 28/01/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300 – Rs.34800 and Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
2. ARTISAN
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR-02)
Educational Qualification: (i). Diploma in Mech/Electrical Engg./National Certificate of Vocational training/Apprenticeship with four years experience (ii).Two years practical experience on Diesel engine repair/Electrical and electronic equipment repairs/fibre class Re-inforce Plastic and wooden craft repairs.
Desirable: Sea Experience/ Experience of repairs on small craft.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-30 years as on 28/01/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 and Grade Pay Rs.2800/-
3. SUKHANI
No. of Vacancies: 10 Nos. (UR-05, OBC-02, SC-02, ST-01)
Educational Qualification: Eight Standard Pass with seven years service on sea going vessel with two years experience in independent handling of mechanized craft fitted with auxilliary sails.
Desirable:
(i). Certificate of competency for inland Master 2nd class or
(ii). Certificate of Service
(iii). Matriculation or equivalent.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-30 years as on 28/01/2017.

4. LAUNCH MECHANIC
No. of Vacancies: 05 Nos. (UR-03, OBC-01, ST-01)
Educational Qualification: Eight Standard Pass and five years service on sea going vessel with one year independent charge of engine and auxilliary machinery.
Desirable:
(i). Certificate of competency for inland Driver Class-II
(ii). Certificate of Service
(iii). Matriculation or equivalent.

5. ENGINE DRIVER

6. SENIOR DECK HAND

Educational Qualification: Eight Standard Pass with five years service on sea going vessel with two year in Helmsman & Seamanship work.
Desirable:
1. Certificate of Fishery Training School.
2. Matriculation or equivalent.

7. SEAMAN
No. of Vacancies: 23 Nos. (UR-14, OBc-05, SC-03, ST-01)
Educational Qualification: X class pass or equivalent with three years experience in sea going Mechanised vessels with two years in Helmsman & Seamanship work.
Desirable: Certificate of competency as Mate of fishing vessel.

8. GREASER
No. of Vacancies: 15 Nos. (UR-09, OBC-03, SC-02, ST-01)
Educational Qualification: X class pass or equivalent with three years experience in sea going Mechanised vessels on main and auxilliary machinery maintenance.
Desirable: Certificate of competency as Engine Driver of fishing vessel.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-25years as on 28/01/2017.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 and Grade Pay Rs.1800/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test/Interview/Skill Test. Note: Candidates with higher qualification can also apply.
