West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited (WBPDCL) is recruiting eligible candidates for 23 posts of Mine Manager, Assistant Mine Manager, Safety Officer, Blasting Officer, Survey Officer, Surveyor, Welfare Officer for its Mining activities. Interested and eligible candidates may appear directly for the Walk-in-Interview along with prescribed application/testimonials on below mentioned scheduled dates and venue. Employment Notification No.- WBPDCL/Recruitment/2017-2018/01. The appointment of selected candidate will be on contract basis for the period of 03 years which may be extended further depending upon satisfactory performance of the candidate. WEST BENGAL POWER DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION LIMITED (WBPDCL) WILL CONDUCT WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR 23 POSTS OF MINE MANAGER, ASSISTANT MINE MANAGER, SAFETY OFFICER, BLASTING OFFICER, SURVEY OFFICER, SURVEYOR, WELFARE OFFICER. WALK-IN DATE — 25.05.2017

 

1. MINE MANAGER
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (SC-01; ST-01)
Educational Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech. in Mining Engineering from any recognized university or reputed Institute approved by the AICTE with 1st Class Mine Manager’s Certificate.
Experience: 05 years of experience as Mine Manager out of which 03 years in open cast coal mine.
Age Limit: Max 62 yrs as on 01.05.2017
Consolidated Pay: Rs.60,000/- per month.

 

2. ASSISTANT MINE MANAGER
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos. (UR-01; SC-01; ST-01)
Educational Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech. in Mining Engineering from any recognized university or reputed Institute approved by the AICTE with at least 2nd Class Mine Manager’s Certificate.
Experience: 04 years experience as Assistant Manager out of which 02 years in open cast coal mine.
Age Limit: Max 62 yrs as on 01.05.2017
Consolidated Pay: Rs.50,000/- per month.

 

3. SAFETY OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 04 Nos. (UR-02; SC-01; ST-01)
Educational Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech. in Mining Engineering from any recognized university or reputed Institute approved by the AICTE with 1st Class Mine Manager’s Certificate.
Experience: 04 years experience as Assistant Manager / Safety Officer out of which 02 years in open cast mine.
Age Limit: Max 62 yrs as on 01.05.2017
Consolidated Pay: Rs.50,000/- per month.

 

4. BLASTING OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos. (UR-01; SC-01; ST-01)
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mining Engineering from any institute recognized by the AICTE with at least 2nd Class Mine Manager’s Certificate.
Experience: 03 years experience in open cast coal mine as Blasting Officer.
Age Limit: Max 62 yrs as on 01.05.2017
Consolidated Pay: Rs.36,000/- per month.

 

5. SURVEY OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (SC-01; ST-01)
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Survey from any institute recognized by the AICTE with DGMS Certified Survey Certificate. Advanced Survey Certificate holders shall be preferred.
Experience: 10 years experience out of which 03 years in open cast mine as Survey Officer will get stipend Rs.50,000/-.
08 years experience out of which 03 years in open cast mine as Survey Officer will get stipend of Rs.36,000/-.
Age Limit: Max 62 yrs as on 01.05.2017

 

6. SURVEYOR
No. of Vacancies: 04 Nos. (UR-01; SC-01; ST-01; OBC(A)-01)
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Survey from any institute recognized by the AICTE with DGMS Certified Survey Certificate.
Experience: 05 years experience out of which 03 years in open cast mine as Survey.
Age Limit: Max 62 yrs as on 01.05.2017
Consolidated Pay: Rs.32,000/- per month.

 

7. WELFARE OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 05 Nos. (UR-03; SC-01; ST-01)
Educational Qualification: Graduate with Degree / Diploma in Social Science / Social Welfare (DSW).
Experience: 05 years experience out of which 03 years in coal mining as Mine Welfare / Personnel Officer.
Age Limit: Max 62 yrs as on 01.05.2017
Consolidated Pay: Rs.36,000/- per month.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidate will be directly through Walk-in-Interview.

The appointment of selected candidate will be on contract basis for the period of 03 years which may be extended further depending upon satisfactory performance of the candidate.
