1. CLERK.
No. of vacancies: 1707 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Madhyamik/ Class 10 pass or its equivalent.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2016

 

2. GROUP D
No. of vacancies: 3216 Nos.
Educational Qualification:
(i) For Matron/ Night Guard – Class VIII pass
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2016
Note: For the post of Night Guard only male candidates are eligible. For the post of Matron only Female Candidates are eligible

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

Only SC/ST, OBC candidates of West Bengal are eligible for age relaxation.

NOTE:

1. A candidate willing to be selected as a non-teaching staff in any School, having Bengali or English or Hindi or Nepali or Oriya or Santhali or Telegu or Urdu as the medium of instruction, must have Bengali or English or Hindi or Nepali or Oriya or Santhali or Telegu or Urdu, as the case may be, as first or second or third language – (i) at Secondary level of the Board or its equivalent for the post of Clerk; (ii) at School Level up to Class VIII for the post of group D staff.

2. The Candidate for the Post of Clerk and Group D Staff shall not be permitted to apply in more than one District in a Regional Level Selection Test.

 

Application Fee: Rs.140 (Rs.70 for SC/ST, PWD) for the post of Clerk AND Rs.120/- (Rs.60 for SC/ST, PWD).

After successful submission of Online Application form one can pay the required fees  through Internet Banking or Debit card or Credit Card or can be paid by means of Bank Challan or through Sahaj Tathya Mitra Kendra.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination (Preliminary and Main Examination) and Personality Test. Candidates applying for the post of Clerk will go through Typing Skill test using computer at the rate of 20 words per minutes in English after qualifying the Written Examination and Personality test.

The 3rd RLST for Non-Teaching Staff (CLERK & GR.D), 2016 will be held for preparing panel for recruitment of NonTeaching Staff (CLERK&GR.D) in Recognized Non-Govt. aided/Sponsored Jr. High/High/Higher Secondary Schools in West Bengal.
