West Bengal Staff Selection Commission (WBSSC) is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 14 posts of Laboratory Assistant. LABORATORY ASSISTANT
Total vacancies: 14 Posts [UR-05, UR(LV)-01, SC-04, SC(ESM)-01,ST-01, BC:A-01, BC:B-01]

 

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: A Degree in Science of a recognized University OR A Pass Certificate in Higher Secondary Examination with Science subject having one year’s experience in analytical work in a scientific laboratory.

 

AGE LIMIT: Not less than 18 years and not more than 37 years as on 01/01/2016. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD & as per Govt. norms for Ex-Servicemen & others

 

PAY SCALE: Rs.5400 – Rs.25200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2600/-

 

NOTE: Benefits of reservation/age relaxation/fee exemption is admissible to the SC/ST, OBC candidates of West Bengal only. Reserved candidates of other States will be treated as General/Unreserved candidates.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.220/- (including processing fee) (SC/ST and PWD candidates should pay only Rs.20/- as processing fee) as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking or any other option available. Candidates facing inconvenience while filling the online application form or candidates with no internet access may take help of their nearby TATHYA MITRA KENDRAS set up by the Govt. of West Bengal up to the level of Gram Panchayats in the rural areas of West Bengal.

Candidates applying through Tathya Mitra Kendra should pay the Application/Processing fee to the kendra. Tathya Mitra Kendra may charge Rs.20/- as service charge

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO WEST BENGAL SSC AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
