The West Bengal Central School Service Commission (West Bengal SSC) is inviting application for 1st State Level Selection Test for Recruitment of Assistant Teachers (Upper Primary Level Except Physical Education and Work Education) in Govt. aided / Sponsored Schools (Except Hill Region). Both Trained and untrained candidates may apply. Candidates who have qualified TET Examinations of year 2011 and 2015 conducted by the Central School Service Commission are eligible to apply. ELIGIBILITY:
Only candidates who have qualified Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), year 2011 & 2015 conducted by Central School Service Commission are eligible to apply for the 1st State Level Selection Test for Recruitment of Assistant Teachers (Upper Primary Level Except Physical Education and Work Education)

 

AGE: Minimum 20 years and maximum 40 years.  Upper age limit is however relaxable by 5 years for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates, 3 years for Backward Class candidates and 8 years for the Physically Handicapped Candidates.

 

CANDIDATES SELECTION:
Selection of the candidates will be through Personality Test. Candidates shall be called for personality test in the region where he/she appeared in TET Examination. Final selection will be on the basis of merit (Weightage of TET, Academic, Professional Qualification and marks obtained in personality test)

 

APPLICATION FEE:
Rs.250/- for General and OBC candidates whereas Rs.80/- for SC/ST & PH candidates. Candidates shall pay Rs.5/- as Bank charges additionally.

Fee can be paid Online through Debit/Credit Card or Net banking. Fee can be also paid through Allahabad Bank (during banking hours) by means of Cash-e-Challan which will be generated automatically upon successful submission of online application form.

 

HOW TO APPLY:
Interested and eligible candidates may apply Online only through the official website of West Bengal School Service Commission (West Bengal SSC) — www.westbengalssc.com from dated 23/09/2016 (5PM) to 03/10/2016 (5 PM).

Last date of deposit of Application fees is 07/10/2016.

Candidates will require to upload scan copy of passport size photograph & signature.

Upon successful submission of Online Application form, system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement form will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it and keep the same safely for future correspondence. Do not send any print-out/documents to the commission at this stage.

Candidates who do not access to Internet or facing inconvenience can submit online application visiting any Sahaj Tathya Mitra Kendra, Common Service centre (C.S.C.) with his/her documents with recent passport size photograph(Colour).  At Sahaj Tathya Mitra Kendra, applicant can apply online with the help of representative of Sahaj Tathya Mitra Kendra and also can pay the fees in cash instantly at Sahaj Tathya Mitra Kendra and get a Receipt.
