Western Coalfields Limited is recruiting 242 candidates for the post of – “Mining Sirdar/ Shot Firer” and “Surveyor (Min)”. Eligible candidates may apply on within the below prescribed last date of application. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria is given below —
1. Mining Sirdar/ Shot Firer, T&S Grade – C: 215 Nos. (Gen—109; SC—32; ST—16; OBC—58)
Qualification Required: Mining Sirdar Certificate of competency issued by DGMS
OR
Diploma in Mining & Mine Surveying and Overman Competency certificate
Candidates must posses valid Gas Testing Certificate and Valid First Aid Certificate.
Pay Scale: Rs.19035.02 plus other allowances.
2. Surveyor (Mining): 27 Nos. (Gen—15; SC—4; ST—1; OBC—7)
Qualification Required: Matriculation and Surveyor’s Certificate of competency
OR
Diploma in Mining & Mine Surveying and Surveyor’s certificate of competency issued by DGMS.
Pay Scale: Rs.20552.37 plus other allowances.
Age Limits: between 18yrs to 30yrs as on 01-02-2013. Upper age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs.
