20 MOUNTAIN DIVISION ORDNANCE UNIT IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 04 POSTS OF TRADESMAN MATE AND FIREMAN. LAST DATE — 04/05/2018

 

1. TRADESMAN MATE
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos. (UR-01, SC-01, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: (i) Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized Board.
OR
Industrial Training Institute pass Certificate from a recognized institute.
(ii) Knowledge of Hindi.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 04/05/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.18,000/- per month.

 

2. FIREMAN
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: (i) Matriculation or equivalent.
(ii) Should have knowledge of Hindi.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 04/05/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 19900/- per month.

 

The candidates will initially be posted at 20 Mtn Div Ord Unit, C/o 99 APO. The selected candidates will be on probation for two years.
Female candidates are not eligible to apply for the post of Fireman.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

 

Physical Standards (For Fireman only):
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 165 cms; Chest (unexpanded) — 81.5 cms; Chest (expanded) — 85 cms; Weight — 50 kgs.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

 

Candidates’ Selection: The selection of candidates will be through Physical Endurance/ Physical measurements tests/ Written test.
