224 Advance Base Ordnance Depot requires 54 Mazdoor, Fireman, CMD, Welder, Etc. Last Dt. 08/02/2014

224 Advance Base Ordnance Depot is recruiting 54 Mazdoor, Fireman, CMD, Welder and Equipment Boot Repair in Pay Scale of Rs.5200—20200 plus Grade pay of Rs.1800 & 1900. Eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format (see below). Number of vacancies, Educational qualification norms and other eligibility criteria are given below —

1. Mazdoor: 50 Nos. (Gen—25; SC—14; ST—01; OBC—10). Out of them 5 Ex-Servicemen and 3 Sportsperson.
Qualification: Matriculation pass and shall be in good and sound health.

2. Fireman: 01 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Matriculation pass with following physical standards – Height: 165cms (162.5cms for ST); Chest (unexpanded/ expanded): 81.5/ 85cms.; Weight: Minimum 50Kgs.
Candidates shall to qualify the following Endurance Test —
— Carrying a man (lift of 63.5 Kg) to a distance of 183 mtrs within 96 seconds. 
— Long jump of 2.7 Meters. 
— Climbing 3 meters vertical rope using hands and feet. 

3. Civil Motor Driver (CMD):  1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Matriculation pass and must possess the civil driving licence for Heavy Vehicles and have two years experience of Driving such vehicles.

4. Welder: 1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Matriculation pass and a ITI certificate in the trade and 02 years of working experience.

5. Equipment Boot Repair (EBR): 1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Matriculation pass and shall be able to carry out all canvas, textile and leather repair and replacement of equipment and boot.

Age: 18 to 25yrs as on last date of receipt of application. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.1800/ Rs.1900 (as applicable)

The selection of the candidates will be through Medical Examination, Practical/ Physical Test, Written Test and Interview.  Date and venue of Selection steps will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course.
The selected candidates will be on probation for two years.

One latest passport size photograph should be affixed on the Application form and admission card duly attested by a Gazetted Officer.
