Air India Air Transport Services Limited (AIATSL), Eastern Region, is recruiting eligible candidates for 250 posts of Customer Agent, Handyman, Ramp Service Agent and Utility Agent cum Ramp Driver. The vacancies are for ground duties at the Airport/ Station at Eastern Region. The candidates will be appointed on a Fixed Term Contract basis for a period of three (03) years which may be renewed subject to performance of the candidates and the requirement of the Company. AIR INDIA AIR TRANSPORT SERVICES LIMITED (AIATSL) WILL CONDUCT WALK-IN-TEST FOR 250 POSTS OF CUSTOMER AGENT, HANDYMAN, RAMP SERVICE AGENT AND UTILITY AGENT CUM RAMP DRIVER. WALK-IN DATE — Between 05/01/2019 and 19/01/2019
I. FOR KOLKATA STATION
1. CUSTOMER AGENT
No. of Vacancies: 60 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Graduate from a recognised University with knowledge of basic Computer Operations.
ii) Should be conversant in English.
Experience: Minimum 06 months of experience in any of the areas of combination thereof, of fares, reservation, Airline Ticketing, Computerized passenger check-in/ cargo handling area with any Airline/ Airline Travel Agency or Ground Handling Agency.
Desirable: Knowledge of Local & Hindi languages i.e. ability to understand and speak is desirable.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 01/12/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 20,190/- per month.
2. HANDYMAN
No. of Vacancies: 101 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) SSC/ 10th Standard Pass.
ii) Must be able to read and understand English Language.
Experience: Minimum experience of one year in Loading/ Unloading functions in any organization.
Desirable: Knowledge of Local & Hindi languages i.e. ability to understand and speak is desirable.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 01/12/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 16,590/- per month.
3. SENIOR RAMP SERVICE AGENT
No. of Vacancies: 04 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Three years Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Production/ Electronics/ Automobile Engineering OR ITI with NCTVT (total 03 years) in Motor Vehicle/ Auto Electrical/ Air Conditioning/ Diesel Mechanic/ Bench fitter/ Welder (ITI with NCTVT – certificate issued from directorate of Vocational education and training of any state government with one year experience in case of welder) after passing SSC/ Equivalent examination with Hindi/ English/ local language, as one of the subject.
ii) Preference will be given to the candidates conversant with the local language.
iii) Candidate must possess valid Heavy Motor Vehicle driving licence.
Experience: Two years’ experience in Maintenance and Operation of Ramp Equipment and Ramp Handling procedures at the airport.
OR
Maintenance and Operation of Automobile/ Hydraulic Equipment from Automobile/ Hydraulic Equipment Manufacturer or their Authorised Service Centre. (in case of Welder the 02 years’ experience should be over and above the minimum qualification experience i.e total 03 years’ experience).
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 01/12/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 20,290/- per month.
4. RAMP SERVICE AGENT
No. of Vacancies: 25 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Three years Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Production/ Electronics/ Automobile Engineering OR ITI with NCTVT (total 03 years) in Motor Vehicle/ Auto Electrical/ Air Conditioning/ Diesel Mechanic/ Bench fitter/ Welder (ITI with NCTVT – certificate issued from directorate of Vocational education and training of any state government with one year experience in case of welder) after passing SSC/ Equivalent examination with Hindi/ English/ local language, as one of the subject.
ii) Preference will be given to the candidates conversant with the local language.
iii) Candidate must possess valid Heavy Motor Vehicle driving licence.

Consolidated Pay: Rs.20,190/- (at Kolkata) & Rs.18,360/- (at Patna) per month.
5. UTILITY AGENT CUM RAMP DRIVER
No. of Vacancies: 58 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Minimum SSC (10th Std Pass).
ii) Must possess valid HMV Driving License.
iii) Language Proficiency.
iv) Should be conversant in English.
Desirable: Knowledge of Local & Hindi languages with ability to understand and speak is desirable.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 01/12/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.18,360/- (at Kolkata) & Rs.15,660/- (at Patna) per month.
II. FOR PATNA STATION
6. RAMP SERVICE AGENT / UTILITY AGENT CUM RAMP DRIVER
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Educational Qualification:
A) For Ramp Service Agent:
i) Three years Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Production/ Electronics/ Automobile Engineering OR ITI with NCTVT (total 03 years) in Motor Vehicle/ Auto Electrical/ Air Conditioning/ Diesel Mechanic/ Bench fitter/ Welder (ITI with NCTVT – certificate issued from directorate of Vocational education and training of any state government with one year experience in case of welder) after passing SSC/ Equivalent examination with Hindi/ English/ local language, as one of the subject.
ii) Preference will be given to the candidates conversant with the local language.
iii) Candidate must possess valid Heavy Motor Vehicle driving licence.
B) For Utility Agent cum Ramp Driver:
i) Minimum SSC (10th Std Pass).
ii) Must possess valid HMV Driving License.
iii) Language Proficiency.
iv) Should be conversant in English.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 01/12/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.18,360/- for Ramp Service Agent & Rs.15,660/- for Utility Agent cum Ramp Driver per month.

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
Physical Standards (For Handyman only):
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 160 cms (157.5 cms for SC/ST candidates and candidates belonging from North- East Region).
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Screening, Physical Endurance Test and Trade Test wherever applicable.
