ix) 1st Battalion, Kolkata Armed Police: 05 posts
x) Kolkata Police Academy Training: 25 posts
xi) 3rd Battalion, Kolkata Armed Police: 05 posts
xii) 6th Battalion, Kolkata Armed Police: 05 posts
xiii) Traffic Department, Kolkata Police: 190 posts

Educational Qualification:
i) Class VIII pass.
ii) Preference would be given to the candidates who have done well in sports and have experience as NCC Cadet/ Boy Scouts/ NSS Guide/ Civil Defence Volunteers etc.
iii) Preferably a resident of the area under the Kolkata Police jurisdiction.
iv) Should not have any criminal record against him/ her in any Police Station.
vi) Should be physically and mentally fit.
vii) Candidates applying for Police Housing Estate need to have working experience in Plumbing/ Carpentry/ Masonry work.
viii) Candidates applying for River Traffic Police need to know Swimming. Candidates having working experience as Engine Driver and Serang will be given preference.
Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and maximum 60 years as on 01/01/2018.
The vacancies are under different units of Kolkata Police. Both Male and Female candidates are eligible to apply.
The selected candidates will undergo a two weeks’ Training course.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Interview.

Last Date and Address: The duly filled Application form along with enclosures should reach at the following address — Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police of respective division, on or before 20/12/2018 by 05:00 PM.
Applications should be submitted Personally in the Drop Box kept at the concerned divisional office.
Candidates should apply for only one Unit.
