HEAD CONSTABLE (EDUCATION & STRESS COUNSELLOR)
No. of Vacancies: 73 Nos. (Male: 62 posts (UR-32, SC-09, ST-04, OBC-17) & Female: 11 posts (UR-05, SC-02, ST-01, OBC-03))
Educational Qualification: Degree from a recognized University or equivalent with Psychology as a subject.
OR
Degree from a recognized University with Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Teaching or equivalent.
Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and maximum 25 years as on 23/10/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs. 25,500-81,000/-
The candidates will be appointed on Temporary basis but likely to be Permanent. Both Male and Female candidates are eligible to apply.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 170 cms (162.5 cms for ST candidates); Chest (unexpanded) — 80 cms (77 cms for ST); Chest (expanded) — 85 cms (82 cms for ST).
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 157 cms (154 cms for ST candidates).
Cut-off in Physical Standards: For candidates belonging to certain categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such candidate’s Height/ Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test
(PST), Document Verification, Written Test and Medical Examination.
