80 Apprentice in Gorakhpur Division of North Eastern Railways. Madhyamik pass with ITI candidates may apply.

North Eastern Railway for its Gorakhpur Division is recruiting 80 persons as “Trade Apprentice”. ITI candidates may apply. Notification No. E/227/IV/5/Pt. XIV, Details given below—

Required Qualification: Madhyamik Pass boys with ITI Certificate on the below mentioned Trade may only apply.

Age: candidates should be between 15yrs to 22yr as on dated 27-11-2011. Age relaxation for OBC-3yrs and SC/ST- 5yrs.

Below is the name of Trade on which training will be given as well as No. of vacancies available—
Fitter: 23 Nos. (Gen-12, OBC-6, SC-3, ST-2)
Welder (G & E): 8 Nos. (Gen-4, OBC-2, SC-1,ST-1)
Electrician: 3nos. (Gen-2, OBC-1)
Carpenter: 20 Nos. (Gen-10, OBC-5, SC-3, ST-2)
Mechanic (Machine & Tool): 10 Nos. (Gen-5, OBC-3, SC-1, ST-1)
Painter: 11 Nos. (Gen-5, OBC-3, SC-2, ST-1)
Machinist: 5 Nos. (Gen-3, OBC-1, SC-1)

Stipend will be given during Training. There is no hostel facility provided. After completion of Training, job may be given but is not mandatory.

Candidates’ selection: On basis of marks obtained in ITI candidates will be called for Interview. There will be no Written Test.

Along with application enclosed the following documents—

• Self attested copies of Educational, Age, Caste and ITI certificate
• One recent passport size photograph with self-signature on it (Should be pasted on the application form)

• 2 Nos. attested Character Certificate from two Gazetted Officers.
