Educational Qualification: i) Matriculate or 10th Class in 10+2 examination system with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from recognized Board.
ii) ITI certificate recognized by NCVT/ SCVT in relevant trade.
Age Limit: Should have completed 15 years and should not have completed 24 years as on 09/01/2019.
The candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training in the designated Trades for a period of One year under Apprentice Act 1961 at various Divisions/ Workshops of Western Railways for the year 2018-19.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The vacancies are in BCT (Mumbai) Division, BRC (Vadodara) Division, ADI (Ahmedabad) Division, RTM (Ratlam) Division, RJT (Rajkot) Division, BVP (Bhavnagar) Division, Parel Workshop, Mahalaxmi Workshop, Bhavnagar Workshop, Dahod Workshop, Pratapnagar Workshop, Sabarmati (Engg.) Workshop, Sabarmati (SIG) Workshop, TM (HQ Controlled Division/ Workshop) and BRIDGE (HQ Controlled Division/ Workshop).
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be on the basis of marks obtained in Academic Qualification and Document/ Certificate Verification.
