CABIN CREW
No. of Vacancies: 295 Nos. (Male: 86 posts (SC-02, ST-12, OBC-72), Female: 209 posts (Gen-85, OBC-124))
Educational Qualification:
i) For Experienced Cabin Crew:-
a) 10+2 from a Government recognized Board/ University.
b) Candidate must be presently working as Cabin Crew in a scheduled airline with minimum one year of experience as Cabin Crew and having a valid SEP for Airbus or Boeing family aircraft. In case of candidates working in a foreign airline in place of SEP, candidates may produce alternate documents.
ii) For Trainee Cabin Crew:-
Graduation OR 10+2 and Three years degree/ diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology or Travel & Tourism (Govt. recognized courses).
Candidates should have fluency in English and Hindi. Candidates having fluency in any Foreign Language of destination where Air India operates will be given preference.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years for Trainee Cabin Crew. Minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years for Experienced Cabin Crew as on 02/05/2018
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 18,400/- initially per month.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
Physical Standards (For all above posts):
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 172 cms (169.5 cm for ST candidates)
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 160 cms (157.5 for ST candidates)
Cut-off in Physical Standards: For candidates belonging to certain categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such candidate’s Height/ Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.
BMI (Body Mass Index): Male- Between 18 to 25, Female- Between 18 to 22. Near Vision: N/5 in better eye and N/6 in worst eye. Distant vision: 6/6 in one eye & 6/9 in another eye. Spectacles not allowed. Contact lenses up to + 2D permitted.
Candidates’ Selection: The selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Preliminary Medical Examination and Personality Assessment Round (PAR) wherever applicable. Written Test will be held tentatively on 06th May, 2018. The selected candidates will undergo Training. During the training period, the candidates will be given a stipend of Rs.15,000/- per month.
