AIRMEN IN GROUP ‘Y’ (NON-TECHNICAL) (INDIAN AIR FORCE (SECURITY)) TRADE FOR INTAKE 01/2020
Educational Qualification: i) Should have passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ Class XII or equivalent Examination in any stream/ subjects from recognized Board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate as well as in English in Class XII or equivalent examination.
ii) Must possess basic competency in swimming.
Only Unmarried Male candidates from States of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland & Tripura are eligible to apply and take part in the Rally.
Age Limit: Born between 19/01/1999 and 01/01/2003.
Basic Pay: Rs. 26,900/- initially per month.
The selected candidates will initially undergo Joint Basic Phase Training (JBPT) at Basic Training Institute, Belagavi (Karnataka). During the training period a stipend of Rs. 14,600/- per month shall be paid to the candidates.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 152.5 cm; Chest — Minimum range of expansion: 5 cm; Weight — Proportionate to height and age.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties. For more details please see the Official Advt.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Fitness Test, Written Test, Adaptability Test-I, Adaptability Test-II and Dynamic Factor Test (DFT).
