Junior Assistant (Fire Service), NE-4
Number of Vacancies: 86 posts (OBC—67, ST—19)
(OBC & ST candidates who are domicile of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, Pondicherry and Lakshadweep Island are only eligible to apply)
Educational Qualification: Class 10 pass and 03 years Diploma in Mechanical/ Automobile/ Fire with minimum 50% marks
OR Class 12 pass (Regular mode) with minimum 50% marks.
Due weightage shall be given to a candidate possessing any one or more —
a) Computer Science as subject at 12th class level;
b) NCC ‘B’ Certificate
c) Relevant experience in an aviation/regular/industrial fire service.
d) Basic Fire Fighting Training Course from AAI Fire Training Establishment
(e) Sub Fire Officer Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur
Physical Fitness:
Height — minimum 167 cms; Chest (unexpanded/ expanded) — 81cms/ 86cms; Weight — Not less than 55 kg.
Eyesight: Distance Vision – 6/6 At Both Eyes Without Glasses; Near Vision – N5 In Both Eyes Without Glasses.
Hearing, Color vision, Speech should be normal. See officially released advertisement for more details.
Age Limit: 35 years in case of ST and 33 years in case of OBC, as on 30/06/2015.
Pay Scale: Rs.12500— 28500 plus other allowances as per norms.
Selection of the candidates will be through written test, physical measurement, driving test, endurance test, and interview.
Examination Centre will be at — 1. Madurai 2.Hyderabad 3. Calicut 4. Mysore 5. Agatti

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format (See PDF below) along with attested copies of relevant certificates (qualification, age proof, caste certificate, domicile certificate, one additional passport size photo and Etc.) and Demand Draft (Fee)
Application Fee: Candidates belonging to OBC category should pay Rs.100/- in form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Airports Authority of India, payable at Chennai. Candidates should write their name on the reverse side the draft.
ST candidates and Ex-Serviceman are exempted from payment of Application Fee.
