Al-Mohed-Al Hindi-23 – Relations between India and Saudi Arabia have grown stronger over the past few years. Be it trade or health, technology or defense, the two countries are working together in all fields. Naval officials of both countries met in Mumbai on Thursday (March 16) and discussed the proposed joint exercise.
The navies of India and Saudi Arabia will conduct joint military training with each other in May this year. Saudi Arabia plans to hold this military training in Jubail. It has been named Al-Mohad-al Hindi-23. This is the second joint military exercise between the navies of the two countries.
The first exercise between the two countries was held in August 2021. A Royal Saudi Navy team met Indian Navy personnel in Mumbai. Indian Navy officials informed this information on Thursday (16 March).
The purpose of the exercise is to conduct an electronic warfare drill to enhance tactical maneuvers, search and rescue operations, and interoperability. During the Riyadh Summit held in 2019, the framework for conducting such military exercises between the two countries was laid down. Recently, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Farhan Al-Saud praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said relations with India were given top priority. He said, “The two leaders Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman are committed to strengthening the relationship between the two countries. The relationship between the two countries has grown rapidly in the last few years.”

Al-Mohed-Al Hindi-23 – গত কয়েক বছরে ভারত ও সৌদি আরবের মধ্যে সম্পর্ক অনেক মজবুত হয়েছে। বাণিজ্য হোক বা স্বাস্থ্য, প্রযুক্তি হোক বা প্রতিরক্ষা, সব ক্ষেত্রেই দুই দেশ একসঙ্গে কাজ করছে। বৃহস্পতিবার (১৬ মার্চ) মুম্বাইয়ে উভয় দেশের নৌ কর্মকর্তারা বৈঠক করেন এবং প্রস্তাবিত যৌথ মহড়া নিয়ে আলোচনা করেন।
ভারত এবং সৌদি আরবের নৌবাহিনী এই বছরের মে মাসে একে অপরের সাথে যৌথ সামরিক প্রশিক্ষণ পরিচালনা করবে। সৌদি আরবের জুবাইলে এই সামরিক প্রশিক্ষণ আয়োজনের পরিকল্পনা রয়েছে। এর নাম দেওয়া হয়েছে আল-মোহাদ-আল হিন্দি-২৩। দুই দেশের নৌবাহিনীর মধ্যে এটি দ্বিতীয়বারের মতো যৌথ সামরিক মহড়া।
দুই দেশের মধ্যে প্রথম মহড়া অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছিল 2021 সালের আগস্টে। রাজকীয় সৌদি নৌবাহিনীর একটি দল মুম্বাইতে ভারতীয় নৌবাহিনীর কর্মীদের সাথে দেখা করেছে। বৃহস্পতিবার (১৬ মার্চ) ভারতীয় নৌবাহিনীর কর্মকর্তারা এ তথ্য জানিয়েছেন।
এই মহড়ার উদ্দেশ্য হ’ল কৌশলগত কৌশল, অনুসন্ধান ও উদ্ধার অভিযান এবং আন্তঃকার্যক্ষমতা বাড়ানোর জন্য একটি বৈদ্যুতিন যুদ্ধ ড্রিল পরিচালনা করা। 2019 সালে অনুষ্ঠিত রিয়াদ শীর্ষ সম্মেলনের সময়, দুই দেশের মধ্যে এই ধরনের সামরিক মহড়া পরিচালনার কাঠামো নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছিল। সম্প্রতি সৌদি আরবের পররাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী ফারহান আল-সৌদ প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদির প্রশংসা করেছেন। তিনি বলেছিলেন যে ভারতের সাথে সম্পর্ককে সর্বোচ্চ অগ্রাধিকার দেওয়া হয়েছে। তিনি বলেছিলেন, “দুই নেতা প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদি এবং ক্রাউন প্রিন্স মোহাম্মদ বিন সালমান দু’দেশের মধ্যে সম্পর্ক জোরদারে নিয়োজিত। গত কয়েক বছরে দু’দেশের মধ্যে সম্পর্ক দ্রুত বৃদ্ধি পেয়েছে।”
