APPRENTICES
i) Graduate Engineers: 10 posts
ii) Technician (Diploma Engineers): 05 posts
Educational Qualification: Full time regular Graduation in Engineering/ Technology OR Full time regular Diploma in Engineering/ Technology with aggregate 60% marks in stream/ branch of Electronics & Telecommunication/ Telecommunication/ Computer Science & Engineering/ Information Technology/ Electrical Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/ any other combination of Engineering branches where Electronics is one of the main branches, like Electronics & Information OR Passed Section A and B of Institution Examinations of the Institute of Engineering (India) in the above mentioned relevant branches of Engineering OR Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India) in the above mentioned relevant branches of Engineering.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 01/10/2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.12,000/- for Graduate Engineers & Rs.10,000/- for Technician (Diploma Engineers) per month.
The candidates will undergo apprenticeship training for a period of One year under Apprentices Act 1961 in various locations of Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and territory offices of Railtel Corporation of India Limited across India.
Candidates who has undergone/ possessing training or job/ work experience for a period of one year or more after the attainment of the above qualification will not be eligible to be engaged as an Apprentice.
Candidates who have completed three years post their Graduation/ Diploma are not eligible to apply.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC category as per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Interview.
