APPRENTICES
1. GT FITTER
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: 10th Standard passed with a minimum of 50% marks plus ITI examination passed in Diesel Mechanic trade with aggregate of 65% marks from a recognized Institute.
2. COMPUTER FITTER
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: 10th Standard passed with a minimum of 50% marks plus ITI examination passed in Information and Communication Technology System Maintenance/ Electronics Mechanic/ Mechanic Radio & TV/ Mechanic cum Operator Electronic Communication System trade with aggregate of 65% marks from a recognized Institute.
3. BOILER MAKER
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: 10th Standard passed with a minimum of 50% marks plus ITI examination passed in Welder (G & E) or Fitter trade with aggregate of 65% marks from a recognized Institute.
4. WEAPON FITTER
No. of Vacancies: 25 Nos. (UR-16, SC-02, ST-02, OBC-05. Out of the total posts, 01 post is reserved for PWD & 01 post of Armed Forces)
Educational Qualification: 10th Standard passed with a minimum of 50% marks plus ITI examination passed in Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance trade with aggregate of 65% marks from a recognized Institute.
5. ICE FITTER CRANE
No. of Vacancies: 37 Nos. (UR-23, SC-04, ST-03, OBC-07. Out of the total posts, 01 post is reserved for PWD & 01 post of Armed Forces)
Educational Qualification: 10th Standard passed with a minimum of 50% marks plus ITI examination passed in Mechanic Motor Vehicle trade with aggregate of 65% marks from a recognized Institute.
6. CIVIL WORKS / MASON
No. of Vacancies: 18 Nos. (UR-11, SC-02, ST-02, OBC-03. Out of the total posts, 01 post is reserved for PWD & 01 post of Armed Forces)
Educational Qualification: 10th Standard passed with a minimum of 50% marks plus ITI examination passed in Building Maintenance trade with aggregate of 65% marks from a recognized Institute.
7. SHIP FITTER

8. GYRO FITTER

9. MACHINERY CONTROL FITTER

Educational Qualification: 10th Standard passed with a minimum of 50% marks plus ITI examination passed in Instrument Mechanic trade with aggregate of 65% marks from a recognized Institute.
10. SONAR FITTER
No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos. (UR-04, SC-01, OBC-01. Out of the total posts, 01 post is reserved for PWD & 01 post of Armed Forces)
Educational Qualification: 10th Standard passed with a minimum of 50% marks plus ITI examination passed in Electronics Mechanic/ Mechanic Communication Equipment Maintenance trade with aggregate of 65% marks from a recognized Institute.
11. BLACKSMITH
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos. (UR-02, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: 10th Standard passed with a minimum of 50% marks plus ITI examination passed in Refractory Technician trade with aggregate of 65% marks from a recognized Institute.
Age Limit for all the above trades: Born between 01/04/1997 to 31/03/2004.
The candidates will undergo One year Apprenticeship training in various Optional (Non Designated) Trades at Dockyard Apprentice School, Mumbai under Apprentice Act 1961.
Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing Apprenticeship under Apprentice Act 1961 in any Govt/ Public Sector/ Private Industrial organisation are not eligible to apply.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST category.
Physical Standards: Height — 150 cm; Chest — expansion not less than 05 cm; Weight — 45 Kg.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination and Interview/ Skill Test. The Written Examination will be held at Mumbai in the month of November/ December, 2018. The Interview/ Skill Test will be held in the month of December 2018/ January 2019.
