Army Educational Corps of Indian Army is inviting application for recruitment of Havildar (Education) in Group ‘X’ and ‘Y’. Total Vacancies — 162 Nos. Eligible and interested candidates may apply on prescribed application format for the vacancies. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria is given below in brief —
HAVILDAR EDUCATION IN GROUP ‘X’ AND ‘Y’
Number of Vacancies: 162 Nos. Stream wise number of vacancies are as follows —
— Science Stream: 122 Nos.
— Arts Stream: 40 Nos.
Education Qualification: —
(a) Group ‘X’: B.A, B.Ed / B.Sc, B.Ed / BCA/BSc(IT), B.Ed/ M.A / M.Sc / MCA from any recognized university.
For B.Sc/ BCA, candidates must have studied any one of the following subjects — Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Biology, Electronics, Computer Science.
(b) Group ‘Y’: B.A /B.Sc/BCA/B Sc(IT) from any recognized university.
For B.A., candidates should have studied any one of the following subjects — English Literature, Hindi Literature, Urdu Literature, History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Psychology, Mathematics, Sociology.
N.B: The candidates must have working knowledge of either English or Hindi.
Age Limits: Between 20yrs to 25yrs as on the first day of Recruitment Rally.
Physical Standards: Candidates must meet the minimum physical standards as applicable to the Soldier (Clerk). For details, candidates may visit Army Recruitment Office.
Selection of the candidates will be through Physical Fitness Test, Written Examination and Teaching Aptitude Test/ Interview.
Physical Fitness Test Physical fitness test will be as follows :-
(a) 1.6 Km in maximum 6.20 minutes.
(b) Pull ups (Beam) – minimum 6 pull ups.
(c) Zig Zag balance.
(d) 9’ Feet ditch – must pass.
candidates should have robust physique and mental health, chest should be well developed with minimum 5 cm expansion, should have normal hearing in each ear.
Written Examination: Candidates qualified from PFT will be called for Written Examination which will be conducted at HQ Recruiting Zone/ IRO Delhi Cantt on 30 Jun 2013. For syllabus details, refer the Advt. (Live url given below).
Teaching Aptitude Test/Interview: Qualified candidates from Written Examination (shortlisted candidates ) will have to appear for Teaching Aptitude Test and Interview to be conducted at AEC Training College & Centre Pachmarhi (MP).
Candidates qualifying in the Written Test, Teaching Aptitude Test and Interview and placed in the merit list will be enrolled in the Army Educational Corps.
How to Apply: Apply on prescribed application format along with attested copies of documents and testimonials.
Candidates must also enclose two Self Addressed stamped Registered Envelopes of Rs 22 denomination issued by the Department of Post & Telegraph.
Superscribe the top of the application containing envelope with – “Application for Havildar Education”.
