1. SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY
Educational Qualification: Class 10th pass with minimum 45% aggregate marks and 33% in each subject.
Note: No aggregate percentage required for higher qualification i.e. 10+2 and above. However, minimum 33% in each subject in class 10th is mandatory requirement.
Age Limit: Born Between 01/10/1997 to 01/04/2001.
2. SOLDIER TECHNICAL
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject.
Age Limit: Born Between 01/10/1995 to 01/04/2001.
3. SOLDIER TECHNICAL (AVIATION / AMMUNITION EXAMINER)
Educational Qualification: 10+ / Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject.
OR
Three years Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Automobile / Computer Science / Electronic & Instrumentation).
Age Limit: Born Between 01/10/1995 to 01/04/2001.
4. SOLDIER NURSING ASSISTANT / NURSING ASSISTANT VETERINARY
Educational Qualification: 10+2 / Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with Min 50% marks in aggregate and min 40% in each subject.
OR
In case the candidate has a B.Sc Degree with (Botany/ Zoology/ BioScience) and English, the stipulation of percentage in Class 12th is waived off. However, the candidate should have studied all the four specified subjects in Class 12th also.
Age Limit: Born Between 01/10/1995 to 01/04/2001.
5. SOLDIER CLERK / STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL / INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
Educational Qualification: i) 10+2 / Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject.
ii) Should have studied and passed English and Maths / Accounts / Book Keeping in Class X or Class XII with 50% marks in each subject.
Age Limit: Born Between 01/10/1995 to 01/04/2001.
6. SOLDIER TRADESMAN
Educational Qualification: 10th / ITI (except Syce, Mess Keeper and House Keeper, who may be 8th pass).
Age Limit: Born Between 01/10/1995 to 01/04/2001.
NOTE:
Only Unmarried Male candidates of districts Purba Medinipur, Paschim Medinipur, Jhargram, Howrah, Kolkata and South 24 Parganas are eligible to apply.
The Recruitment Rally will be held at Haldia Dock Complex Ground, Haldia from 30/09/2018 to 08/10/2018.
Physical Standards (For all above posts):
(i) For Soldier Tradesman: Height — 169 cm; Chest — 76 cm; Chest (expanded) — 81 cm; Weight — 48 kg
(ii) For Soldier Clerk / Store Keeper Technical / Inventory Manage: Height — 162 cm; Chest (unexpanded) — 77 cm; Chest (expanded) — 82 cm; Weight — 50 kg
(iii) For rest of Categories: Height — 169 cm; Chest (unexpanded) — 77 cm; Chest (expanded) — 82 cm; Weight — 50 kg
Relaxation in Physical Standards for reserved/deserved categories will be given as per norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Combined Entrance Exam (Written Test), Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement and Medical Test.
