CONSTABLE (ARMED BRANCH) FOR NEWLY CREATED ASSAM COMMANDO BATTALIONS
– Constable (AB) Male & Transgender – 2220 posts
– Constable (AB) Female – 180 posts
– Constable (AB) Nursing – 50 posts
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
i) HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.
ii) In addition for the posts of Constable (Nursing), Nursing Diploma is necessary.
Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam and must have registered his/her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
Candidates must meet the prescribed Physical Standards. See detailed notification (link given below).
Age Limit (For all above posts/discipline): 18 to 21 years as on 01-01-2021.
Candidates’ Selection: Candidates will have to undergo the Physical Standards Tests (PST) and Physical Efficiency Tests (PET).
